Dr. Seerjana Maharjan obtained her Master’s degree in Botany from TU in 2004. She has been working as an Assistant Scientific Officer at the Department of Plant Resources under the Ministry of Forests and Environment, Government of Nepal for more than a decade. She has pursued her Ph.D. degree in the field of Plant Invasion Biology from TU in 2021. Her major field of interest are plant ecology, biological invasion. She is also an editorial board member of “Journal of Plant Resources-Special Issue”. She has published a dozen of research papers in national and international journals and participated in national and international conferences. She has also been awarded by “BIFAD Awards for Scientific Excellence in a Feed the Future Innovation Lab - Student Research Award 2021, USA”.
